Parking Options

There are several options for parking. Availability varies by day and time.

Parking in Our Lot

FRIDAY

Very few parking spaces are available on Friday before 5:00 p.m. Most spaces are reserved for our tenants or parking subscribers. Please do not park in the lot unless you have checked in advance with Jen Romine (jennifer@universityymca.org, 217-337-1500).

SATURDAY

We will reserve spaces on a first-come, first served basis for those needing parking close to the building. Please contact Jen Romine with your request (jennifer@universityymca.org, 217-337-1500).

Street Parking

Numerous metered spaces exist along the streets surrounding the University YMCA (yellow dots). The meters are connected to the MobileMeter program, which allows you to use a credit card to pay.

Download this app in advance. It's required for the meters.

Park in University Lot C9 (one block away)

The University has made spaces available in lot C9. This is between 5th and 6th streets off Chalmers. You will find entrances on both 5th St. and Chalmers.

FRIDAY

This lot is not available for our event until after 5:00 p.m.

SATURDAY

This lot will be available all day beginning at 8:00 a.m.
